Nestled within the Sierra Madre del Sur and the Sierra Madre Oriental, this region boasts rugged terrain with high mountains and cliffs, predominantly covered in mesophytic forests. Regular rainfall and occasional mist contribute to the challenging yet optimal growing conditions for producing high-quality, complex coffees.
